A number of new brands are set to be showcased by American Greetings Properties at Mipcom Junior, while it is also aiming to secure further international broadcasters for its heritage lines.
Care Bears Adventures in Care-a-Lot and Care Bears Classic series, plus Holly Hobbie & Friends will be showcased at the Cannes event (which runs on October 6th and 7th).
Meanwhile, new brands to be unveiled will include Twisted Whiskers, which started life as a greeting card brand before moving into mobile and online. It currently has 9x30-second CGI shorts available for mobile or online platforms, while 26x30-minute episodes are in development.
Maryoku Yummy is about the magical world of wishes and targets two to five year-olds. 52x11-minute episodes are currently in development via a co-production deal.
Meanwhile, bite-sized crime fighters Sushi Pack and Tinpo, which is a series of interstitials as 30-second shorts which encourage children to become 'solution-oriented thinkers', will also be available to view.
"We are equally excited about our continued focus on our heritage brands, plus the foray into diverse new brands that capture the imagination," said Josef Mandelbaum, president and CEO of American Greetings Intellectual Properties.
