Ami Dieckman heads to E1

Former TV-Loonland exec to be licensing manager for film brands.

E1 Licensing is aiming to give its film business something of a boost, hiring Ami Dieckman as licensing manager for the category.

Dieckman arrives from TV-Loonland, where she held the position of brand and licensing manager for pre-school hit Little Princess. She has also previously held roles at Classic Media and ITV.

At E1, she will be responsoble for developing the licensing and promotional potential of the firm's expanding film portfolio. This includes the successful Twilight saga - including Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse.

"Film brands are an integral part of our licensing business and the team had to grow to ensure that the vast potential of key brands is maximised," explained Andrew Carley, head of licensing at E1. "Ami is an excellent candidate with proven experience; I'm sure she will add great value to the business and that she will help us achieve our strategic objectives in the months ahead."

Dieckman added: "I am delighted to be joining E1 and a successful licensing team who are clearly focused and passionate about their brands."
