Through its Copyrights' subsidiary, Chorion has secured two key apparel deals for the Flower Fairies in the UK and Japan.
In the UK, Somerbond is launching a new range of apparel in Top Shop, beginning with a limited collection of nightwear this month followed by underwear launching in all stores in May.
Copyrights' Japanese agent, Copyrights Asia, has signed a deal with Sumikin Bussan, on behalf of Onward Kashiyama, to produce a line of Flower Fairies t-shirts aimed at women in their 20s to launch in FØRSTE stores.
The range arrives this month with three high-end tees, followed by a further three designs launching in March. All six designs will be on sale at 16 stores throughout Japan.
"These two new apparel collections for fashion conscious young women represent and exciting new stage in the evolution of the Flower Fairies brand," said Nicholas Durbridge, chairman of Copyrights. "We're delighted with Somerbond and FØRSTE's interpretations of this timeless property."
The first Flower Fairies book - Flower Fairies of the Spring - was published in 1923. The books have since become classics in children's literature and have been translated into 11 languages.
