ART & DESIGN MONTH: Paper Island readies Bloke brand

New male character property joins popular Born to Shop collection.

With the continuing success of its Born to Shop sentiment brand, Paper Island is looking to extend its reach, introducing a male-focused line.

Called Bloke, the collection will feature a number of designs, including a man standing next to a BBQ with the tagline 'Licensed to Grill', and on a golf course featuring the tag 'May the course be with you'.

"We have been asked on many occasions if we had something suitable for men and thought it about time we tapped into that market, whilst still maintaining the Born to Shop brand look," Paper Island licensing manager, Allison Myers explained to Licensing.biz. "We are very pleased with the licensee response so far and 'Bloke' gift lines are already being developed for Christmas 2010."
