To celebrate the launch of the latest instalment in Tony Hawks' action sports video game franchise, publisher Activision has been hosting a special photo exhibition at The Second Space Gallery in London.
Running until Friday November 2nd, the show features photographs by Tony Taglianetti, fashion photographer and skateboarder. The exhibition tells stories of the London skateboarders and their favourite tricks, which were shot at some of the capital's most popular skateboarding destinations, including the Westway, South Bank and Stockwell.
The photography focuses on the different kinds of skateboarding personalities, which are also found in the video game, Tony Hawks Proving Ground, which is due for release tomorrow (Friday November 2nd) on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii and DS formats.
A private VIP reception is being held tonight (Thursday 1st) at the gallery, dedicated to press, retail and the skateboarders featured in the exhibition.
"It's not often that games and art come together in any meaningful way, so we're particularly excited about this project," said Gary Sims, brand manager at Activision.
