Artisan Licensing has added a new brand to its portfolio.

Ed King is a neo pop painter from Miami, Florida and Artisan managing director, Siobhan Williamson, believes it will translate well to the greetings, stationery and paper goods sectors.

"I'm really excited about showing Ed King Pop Art at Brand Licensing Europe," said Williamson. "His work is totally original and full of warmth. The bold palette and unique 'stitching' motif he uses are very appealing and work brilliantly on printed goods.

"This brand will be in demand across product categories and is ideal for retailers and licensees who are looking for something truly distinctive."

King added: "I'm looking forward to working with Artisan to develop my brand in the UK. I hope that consumers here will enjoy Ed King Pop Art as much as they do in America."

Art Impressions

Art Impressions was set up as a subsidiary of fine art publisher Collectors Editions, to handle licensing projects for its artists and develop and sell merchandise collections. The firm has since separated and is a stand alone company.
