A new TV show based on the Gummy Bear property could be available for broadcast as early as next year.
AT New Media - which is currently building up the licensing programme for the internet brand - has revealed that an animated series is in the works.
Gummy Bear content can already been seen on YouTube and MySpace, as well as on the official website, while Gummy Bear videos are a constant presence in the top ten of the UK iTunes dance music video chart.
"The development of a TV series is big news for Gummy Bear, which is rapidly establishing itself as one of the hottest new kids brands out there," said AT New Media's Simon Kay. "This popularity is built on the back of huge levels of internet viewership, which means there are millions of fans who will be eagerly awaiting Gummy Bear's TV debut."
Licensing partners already on board include Whitehouse Leisure for plush and Fashion UK for apparel among others.
