The Healthy Kids Association in Australia has teamed up with children's brand LazyTown for a month-long health campaign.
250,000 primary school children in Australia will take part in the Fruit&Veg Month, which comes to a close on September 20th.
The campaign aims to educate children about the obesity problem in Australia, and LazyTown will be used to support and back up the healthy messages being taught by the Month.
"Eating habits formed in childhood stay with us for the rest of our lives," said Healthy Kids Association CEO, Jo Gardner.
"Children are influenced everyday by their environment. We're privileged to have LazyTown's support to help spread our message. It is critical we educate our children about healthy food today, for the benefit of Australia tomorrow."
Activities during Fruit&Veg Month will include nutrition specific classroom activities, eating and education gatherings and competitions involving healthy eating.
