Chapman Entertainment's pre-school duo Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car have been nominated for Best Children's Programme at the Royal Television Society's North West Awards.

Due to be held on November 14th at the Hilton Deansgate, Manchester, over 400 people from the TV and creative industries will be attending.

The 'Hellie's A Winner' episode of Roary the Racing Car will compete with 'Dandelions' from Fifi and the Flowertots. Citizenship and Surveillance for the BBC Learning Zone is also in the category.

"We are delighted that both Fifi and Roary have been nominated," said Greg Lynn, MD and executive producer at Chapman. "The production team in London and at the studio in Altrincham work very hard, so it's gratifying that all their efforts have been recognised in this way."
