Quirky pre-school show Baby Jake has been recommissioned by Cbeebies for a second series.
Indie production outfit Darrall Macqueen has now begun work on a further 26 episodes of the show, which is a hybrid of live action and animation.
Originally commissioned by the BBC for Cbeebies in the UK, series one will debut on international feeds of the pre-school network in Africa, Poland, Asia, India, Latin America and Australia from November.
"We are delighted that Baby Jake is such a hit with pre-schoolers up and down the country," said Billy Macqueen, joint MD of Darrall Macqueen. "The response on both the Cbeebies iPlayer - where Baby Jake quickly established itself as a regular fixture in the top five - and on Cbeebies itself has been phenomenal.
"This quick recommission is not only testament to the strength of the show itself, but also to Darrall Macqueen's confidence as a pre-school producer."
BBC Worldwide is continuing to grow the licensing programme for Baby Jake. Vivid is on board as the UK master toy partner, while Egmont will handle publishing and 2entertain the DVD launches. Products are due to hit the High Street from early 2012.
