BabyTV adds grows licensing division

Firm boosted with the arrival of new sales manager for non-linear digital media.

BabyTV has appointed Keith O'Brien as its new sales manager for non-linear digital media.

O'Brien joins the company's licensing division and will be in charge of managing the commercial development of the BabyTV brand worldwide across non-linear digital media including (S)VOD, video search platforms, smart phone, mobile, syndication, gaming and social networking sites.

He previously worked at Sony Pictures Television as a sales executive.

"Keith's track record in building international content partnerships will prove invaluable to BabyTV as we continue to tailor our programming packages for new and emerging media platforms to reach our target group," said Ralf Kies, licensing and merchandising director at BabyTV.

BabyTV launched in the UK in 2003 and rolled out into international countries two years later in 2005. Within two years, the channel was available in all five continents.
