Fox International's BabyTV channel has inked its first licensing deals in the apparel sector.

Following deals with retailer La Polar and clothing firm Apolo Zona Libre, coordinated ranges of BabyTV clothing for infants and toddlers are due across Latin America this year.

La Polar will sell BabyTV clothing exclusively through its own retail stores in Chile, while Apolo Zona Libre has come on board as the brand's clothing licensee for Central and Latin America.

"With our new style guide now completed we have a large selection of designs and artwork available that work particularly well with apparel," said Ralf Kies, director global licensing and merchandising at BabyTV. "We are looking forward to seeing our first ranges of branded clothing on retailers' shelves before the end of this year."
