BabyTV signs up new agents

Firm ramping up its licensing and merchandising activity following swathe of new appointments.

BabyTV has signed up a host of new licensing agents worldwide to help it expand its programme.

Paris Arabesques has come on board for France, Max Licensing in Turkey, Popcorn for Portugal, Pro Entertainment for Argentina, Brasil and Uruguay and P&L Global Network for the rest of Central and Latin America.

Meanwhile, Bright Group International has been appointed publishing agent in several major territories including the UK.

"BabyTV is a truly global brand and all the unique and award winning content and IP broadcast on the channel is owned by BabyTV," explained Ralf Kies, L&M director for the firm. "We very much look forward to working with our agency partners and further expanding our consumer products retail programme across the world."

BabyTV already has a number of product launches in the pipeline for 2010 and is continuing to source agents in additional territories.



BabyTV launched in the UK in 2003 and rolled out into international countries two years later in 2005. Within two years, the channel was available in all five continents.
