Britain's best selling history title - BBC History Magazine - is due to launch in Spain following a tie up between BBC Worldwide and Ediciones Nobel.
The launch marks the first partnership between the two firms, and the second international licensing deal for the title. It will be edited by Ignacio Cabal and will have an initial print run of 60,000.
"BBC Worldwide are delighted to be working with our newest partners, Ediciones Nobel, to launch BBC Historia magazine in Spain," said James Hewes, head of international development at BBC Magazines.
"BBC History Magazine is the biggest selling history magazine in the UK and I'm confident we will emulate this success in Spain."
Editor Cabal added: "BBC Historia will have 60 per cent UK content and 40 per cent Spanish content. History is extremely popular amongst Spanish readers and we are confident that the outstanding content of BBC Historia will make it a resounding success."
