In support of BBC's Children in Need, BBC Something Special magazine readers have created a giant artwork of Mr Tumble at Jack Tizard School, raising £2,500 for the charity.

The national campaign asked readers and pupils of mainstream schools and schools for children with disabilities to decorate stars and spots in the magazine.

The magazine then pledged £1 to BBC Children in Need for each decoration they received, before collecting the pieces together to build a giant eight metre high collage of Mr Tumble.

The giant collage was then placed on display at Jack Tizard School, a school for pupils aged two to 19 years with a range of severe learning difficulties.

Sarah Oldham, editor of Something Special magazine, said: "we are delighted with the stunning artwork that has been created with all our amazing readers' creative skills.

"We would like to thank them all for getting involved and helping us reach our target of £2,500."

Cathy Welsh, head teacher at Jack Tizard School, added: "At Jack Tizzard we believe the arts enhance the lives of our students and provide fantastic opportunities and experience.

"We are delighted to have helped raise funds for BBC Children in Need by supporting the Giant Mr Tumble project."
