Doctor Who has secured a raft of new licensees as season ten of the hit show enjoys a successful run on BBC One and other channels around the world.
Health and beauty partner, Kokomo Studio, is set to launch a line of men’s health and skincare products, including shower gels, soaps and shampoos, which will hit stores in 2018.
Meanwhile, Brand Alliance has signed up with BBC Worldwide for a three-year deal for Doctor Who daywear for A/W 2017, which will boast t-shirts and leisurewear.
BBC Worldwide is also working with Finsbury Foods for a Doctor Who-inspired celebration cake, which will take the form of a 3D Tardis.
“It’s a really exciting year to be representing the Doctor Who brand at Vegas,” said Rikesh Desai, licensing director of merchandise and gaming at BBC Worldwide.
“With the latest series on air in the UK at the moment, it is great to see licensees consistently supporting the brand, as well as new partners coming into the fold.”
