BBC's Merlin transformed into Facebook game

Bossa Studios signs rights to produce online game based on TV drama.

UK games developer Bossa Studios is working on a Facebook game based on the BBC TV show Merlin.

The browser-based title will enter a closed beta during the Comic-Con International from July 12th to July 15th, and will launch fully this autumn to coincide with the fifth season of Merlin on BBC One.

Merlin the TV show is produced by Shine TV. FremantleMedia Enterprises holds the licensing rights to The Adventures of Merlin.

Julian Murphy, executive producer at Shine TV, said: “Fans of the show are sure to love the opportunity to create and follow their own destinies."
