Bejuba Entertainment has signed a swathe of new deals for pre-school show The Hive.

The firm holds the worldwide rights for TV, DVD and digital distribution on behalf of The Hive Enterprises. Recent broadcast deals secured are with ABC TV Australia, YLE in Finland and Hop in Israel.

In addition, DVD agreements sealed by Bejuba will see a Russian language version distributed by Noviy Disk in Russia, Georgia and CIS, while Magna Home Entertainment will handle the English version across Australia and New Zealand.

"Bejuba is so excited that The Hive has been placed with these prestigious broadcasters around the world," said Sandrine Pechels de Saint Sardos, VP of distribution at Bejuba. "The series is so appealing we are confident that the buzz will continue."

The Walt Disney Company EMEA has signed a multi-territory deal for The Hive, with the show airing from early 2011 on Playhouse Disney.
