Cartoon Network's Ben 10 continues to go from strength to strength - with latest data from NPD showing the property is number one in the UK toy category for June, backed up with a trio of Licensing Award nominations.
June is the second month in a row that Ben 10 has topped the toy listings - even pushing Indiana Jones into second place.
In addition, three of the top four selling toys (by value) in June were Bandai's 10cm figurine in the top spot, the 15cm figure in third and the Omnitrix in fourth.
On top of this, Ben 10 has been nominated in three of the product categories at the forthcoming Licensing Awards - Best Schoolers, Tween or Teen Licensed Property, the toy collection from Bandai has been nominated in the Best Licensed Toys or Games Range and the Ben 10 Protector of Earth game from D3 is up for Best Licensed Interactive product.
"Ben 10's success in the toy market is the result of both a great property and high quality products - something we're delighted to see recognised in the Licensing Awards nominations," enthused Graham Saltmarsh, licensing director at Cartoon Network.
"This has been an incredible year for Ben 10 already and there is so much more to look forward to."
