A range of licensed Beryl Cook products are launching in the UK, thanks to a new deal with UK agency This Is Iris.
Launching at Spring Fair 2016, a collection of the artist's paintings will be used across a stationary and giftware range from Otter House, Carousel Calendars and Calendar Club.
Martin Rees-Davies, head of licensing for The Otter House Group, said: “Beryl’s work is stunning, humorous, instantly recognisable and with a very wide appeal, especially as her paintings show people enjoying themselves.
“It will be a pleasure and an honour to now translate some of Beryl’s art onto a whole range of products.”
Frances Lincoln will be launching a cookbook dubbed 30 Cakes to Eat Naked, which has been illustrated by Cook.
The book will be available form February, while a journal for Cat Lovers and a Postcard Box Set will also be launching, which features images from Cook’s collection.
Sarah Lawrence, from This Is Iris, added: “We were honoured to be asked to work alongside Beryl’s family. The stories behind each painting are as important as the images themselves, with Beryl spending hours observing the world and people around her.”
Lastly, Ravensburger will also be supporting the brand, who will develop a number of jigsaws, which will boast Cook’s well-known illustrations.
Sarah Stevens, product manager at Ravensburger, added: "We're delighted to be able to work with Sarah Lawrence at Iris Licensing on developing jigsaw designs based on Beryl Cook's evocative, funny and popular paintings.
“I've been a big fan of Beryl's work for many years, and am confident that her work will be popular with puzzle fans across the UK. We'll launch the first design for A/W 2016."
