Brand Republic has reported that a number of major brands are lending their backing to 20th Century Fox's upcoming 3D film, Avatar.
Coke Zero, Casio, Panasonic, LG and McDonalds will all be running promotions around the eagerly awaited James Cameron movie.
Coke Zero will be running a TV blitz, while it is also giving away merchandise on its Coke Zero rewards site. Casio, meanwhile, has rebranded its flagship London store, launching a competition to win a trip to the New Zealand studios where the film was shot.
Panasonic has been touring UK shopping centres with a 3D cinema showing trailers of the movie. LG is also running a TV campaign.
Avatar is due to hit cinemas on December 18th.
