BKN has revealed a number of new licensing and merchandising agents which will be marketing its properties.
Merchantwise will represent Dork Hunters from Outer Space in Australia and New Zealand; Spacetoon International will represent Zorro Generation Z in the Middle East, Medialink will handle it in South Asia, Zero A Oito has rights for Portugal, and Doce will look after Chile.
Meanwhile, Kidz Entertainment will represent both Zorro Generation Z and Dork Hunters from Outer Space in Eastern Europe and Russia; Black & White will handle Zorro in Greece and ITC Licensing has been signed up to look after both properties in Brasil.
BKN executives in its owned and operated offices in Cologne, London, Barcelona and NY handle all services internally in those countries.
"We will continue to appoint quality agents in all markets where we do not have our own offices on the ground in order to expand our services and reach," said Nicola Andrews, MD of BKN New Media. "Dork Hunters from Outer Space will begin broadcast on GMTV here in the UK this Sunday August 17th and the toys will launch this fall. We have already commissioned and produced season two for 2009."
