BLCEE 2011: FME looking to grow portfolio in Budapest

Firm is very focused on growing its roster of third party brands.

FremantleMedia Enterprises is heading to Brand Licensing Central & Eastern Europe in Budapest this week with one eye on tying up further third party deals.

The firm already represents ZDF Enterprises' teen brands H20: Just Add Water, Elephant Princess and Dance Academy, a number of Discovery brands such as LA Ink and Miami Ink and UK character property, Bang on the Door.

Diana Dieckmann, VP licensing for Germany, Eastern, Central and South Europe (pictured), told "FME is very focused on growing our portfolio for third party brands. This exhibition is a great platform to meet licensors in order to discuss partnerships and representation possibilities."

Dieckmann says that both the region and the Advanstar show are very important to FME and the firm is keen to show off the diversity of its brands and range of possibilities to clients.

"More and more clients attend the BLCEE show and, therefore, it is a perfect exhibiting opportunity for getting in direct contact with potential licensees, as well as licensors," she concluded.
