CBeebies has ordered 26 more 10-minute episodes to follow on from the 52 already in production. The new series is slated to start shooting from June 2010.
Timmy Time had an impressive UK debut for CBeebies with more than 8.2 million viewing the programmes since it launched in April, according to BARB.
Timmy Time has also secured 4 additional new licensing deals in UK with Next for a wide range of apparel, Blues Clothing for outerwear and leisure, Worlds Apart for Ready beds and children’s furniture and Mookie Toys for playballs.
These partners join Master Toy partner Vivid Imaginations who have obtained broad distribution across plush, playsets, games, puzzles. Aardman has also secured Golden Bear as licensing partner for wooden toys and Trade Mark Collections for a range of bags and accessories.
In publishing, Egmont has picked up UK and Commonwealth rights to Timmy Time, and Titan Magazines will be producing a monthly comic for the UK and Eire.
