Classic Media has revealed to attendees at Brand Licensing Europe in London that it’s scored an exclusive, multi-territory broadcasting deal with Nickelodeon.
The group will manage international TV distribution of the new Nickelodeon show Life With Boys. Classic Media will have distribution rights that covers all territories except for Canada, Latin America, Asia, Australia, France and the UK.
It is the first deal to come of Classic Media scoring distribution rights to the series.
The ‘tween’ series Life with Boys is co-created by Michael Poryes, the man behind Hannah Montana and That’s So Raven.
Life with Boys is scheduled to premiere in Canada in September 2011.
“We are delighted to have partnered with Nickelodeon. This deal marks the first of many anticipated global broadcast partnerships for ‘Life with Boys’,” said Classic Media exec vice president Chloe van den Berg.
