A new licensing programme has been announced for the best-selling children’s picture book Guess How Much I Love You.

The deal will be managed by Walker Licensing in the UK and Candlewick Press in the US – the latter being the sister company of Walker Books UK.

The Guess How Much I Love You brand is based on the best-selling picture book issued over 23 million copies in print.

The longstanding book series, written by Sam McBratney and illustrated by Anita Jeram, is available in 50 languages, and Walker Licensing and Candlewick Press will look to publish further titles in the future.

“This is part of an ongoing business growth strategy to maximise brand extension opportunities across Walker’s award-winning list of children's books,” read a statement.
