Fox Consumer Products has added new licensees across a variety of categories to its Family Guy programme, while also kicking off the licensing drive for spin off, The Cleveland Show.

In the apparel category, Somerbond will be creating men's nightwear and essentials for Family Guy, joining Bravado, Brand International and Roy Lowe & Sons in the category.

Posh Paws has developed novelty gift items, including barware and keyrings, while Peter Black's Family Guy gift range recently launched in Argos and Wilkinsons. Character World's 'Freakin Sweet' bedding is also being supported in Argos for autumn/winter 2010, with new designs to follow for 2011.

Alongside GB Eye's posters and postcards and Danilo's calendars and diaries, a collection of college stationery and computer peripherals from new partner The Hira Company will be launching in 2011.

Meanwhile, Bravado recently signed a deal for spin off The Cleveland Show. A range of t-shirts will launch in Amazon, HMV and Play in November.

"The Family Guy fanbase continues to expand and we're extremely pleased to be able to offer followers of the show an exciting range of consumer products that celebrate the original humour and quirky, off the wall characters," said Carl Lumbard, SVP and MD of Fox Consumer Products Europe.

"The property allows licensees to express their creativity and reflect the comic genius of the show creator, Seth MacFarlane."
