Paramount Licensing is readying for its appearance at Brand Licensing Europe next month - and will be bringing a strong mix of new movie brands and classic franchises to Olympia.
Due in March 2011, animated action/adventure Rango, starring Johnny Depp, will be a key focus, as will the remake of 1980s classic Footloose, which is due to hit cinemas in spring 2011.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn (autumn 2011) - which stars Jamie Bell and Daniel Craig and is being directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson - and the fourth installment in the Mission Impossible franchise will also be touted as strong merchandising opportunities.
Paramount is also developing authentic licensed merchandise to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Key deals already revealed include The Godfather and Dolce & Gabbana, with the fashion house producing a collection of men's and women's tops based on imagery from the film trilogy. Meanwhile, Guru is teaming with The Warriors for a range of apparel due to launch in Europe shortly.
Paramount works with a number of agents across Europe including The Licensing Company (UK, France, Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland); Biplano (Iberia); Alicom (Nordic territories); and Plus Licens (Central & Eastern Europe).
