Turner CN Enterprises has acquired the licensing and merchandising rights for new television series, Puppy in My Pocket, a co-production between Mondo TV, MEG and Giochi Preziosi.
The 52x11-minute first series will air in over 130 countries across EMEA from 2011 and will be supported by a fully comprehensive licensing programme driven by Turner CN Enterprises.
The firm has been appointed as the official licensing agent in Europe, Middle East & Africa (excluding Italy, Spain and Greece). The first Puppy in my Pocket licensed products will be available at retail in 2012.
Alan Fenwick, VP, Turner CN Enterprises said: “The acquisition of Puppy in my Pocket is a significant development in our strategy to grow our business into new markets and we are looking forward to working with great partners such as Mondo TV, MEG and Giochi Preziosi.
"We’ll be using Brand Licensing Europe to showcase our developing role as a third-party agent and to communicate how we will be using our boys expertise to develop girls properties, pre-school and lifestyle brands.”
Graziano Delmaestro, licensing director at Giochi Preziosi, added: "It was important that we secured good TV scheduling in all territories and the deal with Turner will help us to achieve this. Their expertise as licensing agents will also drive the merchandising programme forward."
