BLE 2011: DVD partner on board for Walker's Tilly and Friends

Firm signs eOne to represent DVD rights for pre-school property.

Walker Books has appointed Entertainment One as the UK DVD partner for its new Cbeebies pre-school show, Tilly and Friends.

The show - which is aimed at three to five year olds - is currently in production and is due to air on Cbeebies in autumn 2012. The season one DVD launch will follow.

"We are so excited about the positive reaction to Tilly and Friends - everyone who sees it falls in love with it," said Julia Posen, Walker Books' marketing, brands and licensing director. "eOne UK has a fantastic reputation for managing pre-school properties and we're delighted that Tilly will be joining their list."

Poonam Sahota, eOne's managing of worldwide acquisitions, added: "We are absolutely delighted to be working with Walker on this exciting new pre-school show."
