BLE 2011: Worms Crazy Golf tees off

The gaming brand secures a series of new licences with agent AT New Media.

Worms Crazy golf is out now via the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and on the PC via Steam.

On the iPhone, Worms has been a number one seller in over 40 countries and has achieved top 5 position in over 70.

AT New Media was recently appointed agent for the classic British gaming brand, which is developed by Team 17.

Simon Kay of AT New Media said: “This latest addition to the Worms franchise has been causing huge amounts of excitement amongst gamers and shows that after 15 years this amazing brand is hotter than ever.”

AT New Media has secured deals with First 4 Figures (Together Plus) and IGS for collectables, Gaya for plush and apparel, and Bioworld and Fashion UK for apparel.

Kay added: “The massive levels of popularity and constant stream of new content is also fuelling interest in Worms merchandising opportunities and enabling us to put a very strong programme together.”

Earlier this month, AT New Media picked up the Carmageddon licence. A cult gaming series from the 90s, Carmageddon will be revived with a sequel set to launch later this year.
