Space Enterprises has announced a series of new deals that will see the popular pre-school brand The Hives hit the shelves in forms including iPhone games, plush toys and honey.
A new deal with Lifeplan Products will see the Bee family grace jars of Hive branded Active Rainforest Honey whilst a licensing deal with Avanquest will result in Bee Books, a range of interactive eBooks.
Space Enterprises and Avanquest are negotiating on a special version of the Bee Book that can be accessed as a downloadable feature when purchasing The Hive branded honey.
The Hive characters will also find themselves immortalised in plush thanks to Master Toy Mookie releasing a plush line that will be available to purchase from Amazon, Asda Online, Smyths, The Entertainer, Hamleys, AIS and Toymaster with interactive plush toys set to arrive next year.
The Hive content will also arrive on LeapPad learning tablet and games consoles and a nightwear line from Aykroyds TDP has recently hit the shelves of Mothercare. A number of retailer deals are also being discussed for Australia in 2013.

“This adds to a host of activity surrounding a brand that is currently one of the hottest kids licenses on the market.”
