MD Rob Corney worked at major licensing companies, developing programmes for worldwide brands before setting up the new business.

The company decided to exhibit at the show because, as Corney explains: “We’re incredibly proud of the quality and scope of our portfolio and Brand Licensing Europe is a great place to spread the word about our continuing success and growth.”

Bulldog Licensing was set up for three purposes. Firstly, to work with creative talent throughout the UK to develop their properties ready for the international licensing markets; secondly, to work with the owners of existing British brands to develop international licensing programmes and thirdly to bring international properties into the UK for domestic licensing.

The company will be exhibiting the fast growing licensing programmes for a range of properties. Thumb Wrestling Federation (TWF) is a popular children’s TV series. By the time BLE is in full swing, series one and two will be out on DVD, with the third on the way.

Production on TWF’s series four will also be complete and a merchandising programme across major High Street retailers will be well under way.

Orsum Island launched as a website – – and the online community has bought about a strong following for the forthcoming TV show, Adventures on Orsum Island, a high definition 3D series using motion cature technology on real backgrounds.

Bulldog Licensing also licences classics like Bill & Ben and Andy Pandy; a card and gift range, Little Ewe; gift and plush ranges Soft Spots and Baby Bunny Bundles; a new brand of children’s characters, Sandy Island and Canonball 8000, a lifestyle brand offering the opportunity for car enthusiasts to be able to join in a rally.
