Having grown up around Hertfordshire, Jordan was a member of her local Artists’ Society from an early age. Her first painting to be sold was to Lord Cobbold at the Boxfield Gallery.

Having previously worked in media, Jordan has a background in both editorial and design and was educated at Keele University and the University of Hertfordshire.

Aside from fine art, Jordan has a passion for all types of sport and many adventure sports including scuba diving, skiing and paragliding. As an artist it is always inspiring to see the world from another perspective and flying certainly offers that opportunity.

Jordan attends Brand Licensing Europe each year as a visitor and she says: “It just seems to get better each year, especially the art and design sector, which has expanded. This made me think that the timing is right this year and obviously a lot of other exhibitors think so too, judging from the numbers.”

BLE will be a brand awareness exercise for Jordan’s brand and her distinctive style. She also hopes to secure licensing deals and contacts from a broader spectrum of clients.

On show will be the 2008 Fine Art Portfolio, the Glamour portfolio, which Jordan describes as “a stylish and sophisticated range of imagery with the wow factor” and Silhouettes, a well established and classically feminine range of images and verses.

On plans for future exhibitions, Jordan explains: “Being my first show I would like to see how this one evolves and base a decision on that, but having decided to do this one very much at the last minute, I certainly wouldn’t rule out doing another show.”
