North East-based creative agency Blue Kangaroo has welcomed a raft of new appointments and promotions due to exceptional growth during 2015.
Wayne Taylor has joined the agency as a designer, with a strong background in 3D rendering and sculpturing.
James Dixon has also joined the team as a designer and brings with him a wealth of experience in the licencing products sector.
Following a period of freelancing, Joanne Lee has been appointed to the role of junior designer with the award-winning team while Erin Boyle has been promoted to the role of project assistant and awarded a full time permanent contract, having joined the agency last March on an apprenticeship scheme.
“Last year was certainly a bumper year for us, seeing the business grow from strength-to-strength with some big-name client wins in the entertainment and licencing sector," said Jason Knights, managing director of Blue Kangaroo.
“As such, we began to export our services to customers in the United States and won an award for our work. Since then, we have seen the work we do Stateside grow by over 50 per cent of our total revenue, and so our new appointments and internal promotion are a welcome addition to the team to help meet the growing demand for our services in the global marketplace.”
Blue Kangaroo works extensively with major clients like Mattel in the USA and the agency also works with big brands in India like Joyful Plastics.
“These big name clients come to work with us because they know and appreciate the quality of our work," added Knights.
"Therefore it’s so important to have the right people in place that can continue to deliver the required work to the very best standard while helping to grow the business further.
“I’m delighted to welcome our new starters and would also like to congratulate Erin on her promotion. There’s no doubt we’re starting the New Year in a really strong position with a team of extremely talented people. I’m looking forward to 2016 and all that it will bring us at Blue Kangaroo.”
