Bluebird Brands is to launch a new collection of products based on the Collins Gem range of dictionaries.
The line will hit retail in October and includes bags, umbrellas and mug gift sets, all featuring an inventive take on words and dictionary descriptions.
"We are very excited about this new Collins Gem range," said Rachel Needs, brands and licensing director ay Bluebird Brands. "We always look to link our products into the personality of the brand and this new line fits into that remit absolutely perfectly.
"It is something completely different and Collins Gem is such a strong and recognisable brand that these products will really stand out."
Melanie Beer, head of licensing and content development at HarperCollins, added: "[Bluebird's products] are a perfect brand extension for our bestselling dictionary brand and will be joined at retail by other licensed products including stationery, greetings cards, calendars and gifts."
