Bluebird Brands is gearing up for the launch of several new ranges as it looks to make its mark on the licensing industry.

The company was set up in October 2009, but already boasts a number of licences - including Mr Men & Little Miss, Scooby-Doo and Pip & Co. Such is its initial success that it has moved to its own purpose built premises in Rochdale, which includes a showroom to enable it to present its lines.

"Our growth plan is centred on developing new and exciting licensed merchandise that really engages with the consumer; we have a very experienced team here and can draw on considerable overseas resources, which is a great asset," said Rachel Needs, brand and licensing director at Bluebird Brands (pictured).

"We always looks to include features or materials which enable the personality of the brand to shine through and enable us to produce something that is really innovative and fun. Although we've only been established in our own right for less than a year, we have a host of new properties to work with and will be making announcements very shortly about our latest lines and products."
