P2 Games has added Bob the Builder to its portfolio of brands, following a deal with Hit Entertainment.
The firm will launch the first game app featuring the character this week - Bob the Builder's Playtime Fun - for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
It will include six games which reinforce the brand's message of positive thinking, problem solving and teamwork. Throughout the app, Bob encourages kids as they navigate each game.
The app also showcases a bonus sticker book where players collecy virtual stickers of their favourite members of the Can-Do Crew.
"Playtime Fun taps into the distinct and beloved qualities of Bob the Builder," said Natasha Fishman, senior director, digital media and marketing, at Hit Entertainment. "With emphasis on teamwork and problem solving, this 6-in-1 game app provides kids with a fun and rewarding Bob play experience."
Gerry Whiteside, director of P2 Games, added: "Bob the Builder is such a great role model for pre-school children and has inspired so many creative experiences for kids."
