Bonnier Publishing will be publishing a series of eight titles based on Hit Entertainment's Angelina Ballerina.

The range will encompass story, activity and colouring books and will launch in the UK and Australia in early 2012. Further titles are due to follow later in the year.

The new CGI Angelina Ballerina book series will be published by Autumn Publishing in the UK and Five Mile Press in Australia. It will run alongside the current CGI TV series - Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps.

"We're delighted to be partnering with Bonnier Publishing for the very first time," said Katie Price, senior director of global publishing at Hit Entertainment. "The group is renowned for producing highly innovative and quality books, so we are confident the first ever CGI Angelina book series will prove very popular."

Perminder Mann from Bonnier Publishing added: "Angelina has an impressive brand history and the new CGI has a strong visual appeal which lends itself brilliantly to our fabulous range of innovative formats."
