Happy Films is looking to continue Bookaboo's recent award winning run with yet another nomination.

The ITV pre-school show has been given the nod for the Prix Jeunesse International Festival, which is due to be held from May 28th to June 2nd in Munich.

The bi-annual festival rewards the best in children's television from around the world. Selected programmes have to meet a strict criteria in terms of originality, entertainment value and production values.

Bookaboo has made the list of finalists for Up to 6 Non Fiction.

CPLG is currently exploring licensing areas to move the brand into.

UK MD Vickie O'Malley offered: "Bookaboo is unusual in that it appeals to pre-schoolers right up to six and seven year olds, which few other shows can do. This also means that its licensing potential is vast, so we're expecting great things from Bookaboo."
