To support the world premiere of the film Ben 10: Alien Swarm, Turner Broadcasting has teamed up with PR firm Cow and events agency Added Dimension to stage the inaugural Ben's 10 Awards.
Hosted by Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon, the awards will take place on Sunday November 15th at the Unicorn Theatre in London Bridge.
The event will be attended by the film's cast and director, Alex Winter. It will also play host to an audience of 300 Ben 10 fans, who have won places via a digital awareness campaign. This invited kids to upload videos or photos of themselves performing tricks, with the best rated entries earning the invites.
On the day, ten kids will be presented with awards and become the first ever Ben's 10 team, featuring on-air on Cartoon Network and in the Ben 10 magazine. There will also be a performance from dance troupe Diversity.
"After staging the UK's largest kids premiere for the launch of animation series Ben 10: Alien Force, we knew we had to pull something big out of the bag for the movie," said Barnaby Dawe, VP of marketing and communications at Turner Broadcasting.
