Brando Enterprises and its agent, Brand Sense Partners, have closed a further two licensing agreements involving Marlon Brando.
Renault Auto has licensed clips from Brando's performance in On the Waterfront for a TV campaign to promote its new Clio model. The spots are running on UK TV channels and in Renault dealer showrooms, and also feature other past and present pop culture icons.
In addition, Getty Images, on behalf of Italian retailer Liu Jo Jeans, licensed imagery of the star for a print advertising campaign throughout key fashion and lifestyle publications. The deal also included an in-store point of sale display campaign featuring posters and counter displays.
"The Marlon Brando image is in a class by itself, continuing to electrify generations of consumers," commented Theresa Brown, VP of Brand Sense Partners. "Prestigious companies in all major product categories are recognising the unique connection that the Brando image holds with consumers on a global basis."
