Brand Licensing Europe will open its doors next week, with organiser Advanstar claiming that it is going to be the biggest ever in the history of the event.

The show - which is being held in Olympia's Grand Hall on October 2nd and 3rd - will boast 189 exhibitors on the showfloor, more than ever before.

There will also be more international exhibitors than before - 29 compared to 23 last year. Meanwhile, visitors have also pre-registered from no less than 76 countries.

The 'Europe' element to the name isn't the only new addition either. The Licensing Academy is a two-day series of complementary seminar and workshop sessions, which will be running alongside the main show. Each session is free to attend.

Topics covered will include the likes of Brand Protection for Art and Design; Kids, Tweens and Shopping; Spotting Trends in Internet launched Brands; and Interaction of Pre-school Children and Licensed Product.

In addition, the major film studios will be presenting teasers, trailers and licensing opportunities for forthcoming movie properties in The Screening Suite, a fully working cinema in the Grand Hall. Entry is by invitation only.
