Brands with Influence named licensing agent for Studio 100's Wissper

Brands with Influence has been named the UK licensing agent for the hit Studio 100 Media property, Wissper.

The pre-school animation series was first broadcast on Channel 5 in 2015 and will be making its return to screens this autumn via Milkshake.

Under the new deal, Brands with Influence will be working with existing licensees to maximise the reach of the brand through retail. Master toy partner, Simba is gearing up for a spring 2019 launch with Bioworld, C&M Licensing and Amscam all launching ranges in 2019.

Other key categories being targeted include publishing, stationery, bags, homewares, dress-up, art and crafts and confectionery.

Peter Kleinschmidt, international commercial director at Studio 100 Media and m4e, said: “Appointing a UK licensing agent is just another piece of the puzzle in order to make Wissper the pre-school brand of choice in the UK.

“BWI demonstrated such a strong understanding for the brand and with its pedigree, made its appointment an easy decision. They are already working hard to coordinate plans with existing licensees and formulating plans for 2019 and beyond.”
