Brands with Influence signs brace for Woolly and Tig

Trade Mark Collections and MV Sports now on board for pre-school property.

Brands with Influence is continuing to build the licensing programme for pre-school hit Woolly & Tig, welcoming a further two partners.

Trade Mark Collections has signed up for bags and umbrellas, while MV Sports and Leisure will develop wheeled vehicles.

This brings the total number of licensees to 14.

"We are delighted to be joining the Woolly family of licensees," said Trade Mark's Helen Hillson. "We have already developed a really strong range of products for 2014. There is a real buzz about this brand and we were keen to capitalise on the obvious demand by signing a deal with BWI."

Brian Jameson, writer and co-producer of Woolly & Tig, added: "This is a reallt exciting time for the brand. We love seeing how our licensing partners bring our little animated spider to life.

"From bags to jigsaws, pyjamas to talking Woolly toys, the quality of product development and imagination is really fantastic. It's exactly what we need to ensure children are engaged and entertained."

Cbeebies recently confirmed that it will be broadcasting Woolly & Tig for a minimum of three more years, guaranteeing exposure until at least 2017.
