BT signs up The Wiggles

Educational entertainment show heading to BT Vision Kids after new deal.

As the group heads towards its 20th birthday, The Wiggles is now available to view on BT Vision Kids.

The channel features The Wiggles TV show on demand and six specials. Under the terms of the deal, viewers will be able to watch, pause or rewind the programmes whenever they want.

"It's great to be working with such an innovative and forward thinking organisation as BT Vision," said Mike Conway, general manager of The Wiggles. "We're delighted to be a part of this wonderful platform and are looking forward to the opportunity to reach out to young children and their families on the BT Vision Kid's Channel."

Marc Watson, chief executive of BT Vision, added: "We are exceptionally happy to be partnering with The Wiggles."

Formed in 1991, The Wiggles still perform to more than a million people a year, across 200 shows and have sold more than 30 million DVDs and CDs worldwide. A 15-city UK tour has been confirmed for 2011.
