Busy Paramount Licensing has unveiled a host of new partners for its Rango property, as well as a swathe of apparel partners for some of its classic film brands.
Rango - which stars Johnny Depp as a lonely chameleon - is due to hit cinemas in March 2011.
Current partners include: American Greetings (greeting cards); Artbox (trading cards); Eaglemoss (mini-magazine and figurines); Fortune Fashions (basic tees, knits, fleeces); Hot Toys (collectible figures); Inkology (school supplies); Palace Press (art books); Rubie's (costumes); Scorpio (posters); Sterling Publishing (children's book formats); and The Canadian Group (puzzles and games).
In addition, Paramount has also signed a number of apparel deals with a wide range of licensees for some of its classic film properties.
American Classics will be producing t-shirts based on Gladiator, Hot Rod, Nacho Libre, Terrytoons and The Godfather, while Changes has a wide selection of Top Gun tees.
Fifth Sun has an array of tees based on Paramount's 1970s and 1980s film titles, including Grease and Up in Smoke, while Freeze is developing Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Forrest Gump, Grease and The Godfather designs.
Mighty Fine, meanwhile, has created t-shirts featuring Anchorman, Beverly Hills Cop and Pretty in Pink among others, while Ripple Junction also has such classic as Airplane and Naked Gun.
Finally, Signorellie and Signorelli Vintage has a selection of high-end apparel featuring images from Flashdance, Footloose and Top Gun.
