Calimero celebrates successful launch in France

Animated series achieved 35.8 per cent audience share of three Sundays.

International children’s animation Calimero is celebrating a successful launch across France, achieving an average audience share of 35.8 per cent.

According to results from Mediametrie, the animated series achieved the share of children aged four to ten over three successive Sundays.

The show launched on TF1’s children’s block TFOU on February 9th this year. The results of the show’s success were confirmed on TF1’s digital media where it ranked third favourite in two weeks.

Initially created in 1963, Calimero follows the adventures of its title character, a little chicken.

The show now airs in over 80 countries with a roster of 290 episodes.
