Carte Blanche expands Me To You and Tatty Teddy in South Africa

South African Greetings and Prima Toys have won the distribution rights for Carte Blanche's portfolio

Carte Blanche Group has partnered with South African distributors to develop its brands, Me to You, Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends and Tiny Tatty Teddy across the region.

Manufacturing publishers South African Greetings and toy specialists Prima Toys have both won distribution rights for Carte Blanche's portfolio.

Marc Dubery, international sales director, Carte Blanche, said: "We are delighted to work with partners who have truly embraced our vision and are excited about working together to create a strong brand presence."

South African Greetings is the largest supplier in social expression merchandise in the South African marketplace.

Mike Turk, South African Greetings, CEO added: "With specialist divisions in greeting cards publishing, wrappings, finishes, partyware and being a licensee to American Greetings in Southern Africa, we are in a prime position to distribute the award-winning Carte Blanche brands.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share this exciting plush and gifting brand with parents and children all over South Africa."

Meanwhile Prima Toys boasts over 46 years experience distributing leading toy and game names across the territory.

Carte Blanche's longstanding south African licensing agency, Revolution will work closely with South African Greetings and Prima Toys to roll out a series of consumer events across South Africa.

Tatty Teddy, the bear with the brown patches, first appeared with a group of other characters in the Miranda gang in 1987, charming his way into many hearts.
