Cartoon Network readies coding-themed The Powerpuff Girls episodes

Cartoon Network is set to air the first of two coding-themed episodes of The Powerpuff Girls today.

Premiering this evening at 6.30pm, the episodes are part of the company’s collaboration with Scratch, a free programming language that aims to encourage kids to create and share their own interactive stories, games and animations.

The collaboration between the two companies will provide children with coding activities, featuring Cartoon Network’s characters, plus a free Powerpuff Girls coding tutorial Make It Fly will also be available for kids to watch.

Dubbed Viral Spiral, the first episode will see Bubbles use her coding skills to help save the internet.

By using Scratch’s website, children can develop their problem-solving skills to make stories, games and animations starring The Powerpuff Girls.
